What is a clockwork sculptor?

Brendan Reilly is a different kind of artist. He designs and builds clockwork mechanisms from scratch, making every part himself using only basic woodworking  tools such as drill press, router, and bandsaw. He uses wood to make gears, frames, hands, and dials, all of them meant to be seen as things of beauty as they perform their rhythmic dance.

He brings  the beauty of these marvelous and intriguing machines out into the open. A clockwork sculpture is a living thing, always in motion. Pendulums rock, levers work, and wheels turn as time is kept.
